‘It would have been bad’: Bellevue woman still trapped in home after tree nearly lands on roof

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Damage from Tuesday night’s bomb cyclone conditions trapped one elderly woman inside her Bellevue home.

Downed trees blocked the driveway to 85-year-old Monika Hall’s home on Wednesday morning on 129th Avenue in Bellevue’s Bridle Trails neighborhood.

“I cannot get in and out of the house there is no access,” Hall told KING 5.

Hall can’t safely get down from her front porch until all the debris is clear.
