Investigation finds sexual misconduct allegation against SPD assistant chief to be unsubstantiated

Assistant Chief Tyrone Davis was not charged with a crime and the claims against him were determined to be unfounded, according to a report from the OPA.

SEATTLE — An investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Seattle Police Department (SPD) Assistant Chief Tyrone Davis has been closed as the claims were found to be unsubstantiated.

Davis was accused of sexual assault by a fellow City of Seattle employee but was never charged with a crime and the investigation by the Office of Police Accountability determined the claims were unfounded.
