The Washington State Gambling Commission served a series of search warrants in predominantly low-income neighborhoods, where owners “preyed on the community.”
SEATTLE — Agents with the Washington State Gambling Commission seized seven illegal gambling kiosks from stores in Tacoma, Seattle, and Lakewood on Tuesday.
KING 5 obtained exclusive video of the raid conducted by state agents in cooperation with the Tacoma Police Department, Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, Lakewood Police Department and Seattle Police Department.
According to the commission, the seven machines were seized after agents served five separate search warrants but the agency did not disclose the names of the stores involved.
