Idaho smokehouse recalls Chomps beef sticks over metal contamination risk

Idaho Smokehouse Partners initiated the recall after receiving two consumer complaints about pieces of metal found in the product. No injuries have been reported.

IDAHO, USA — Idaho Smokehouse Partners, LLC, a company based in Shelley, Idaho, has issued a recall for approximately 29,541 pounds of ready-to-eat beef stick products due to the potential presence of metal fragments, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced Thursday.
