SEATTLE — Hundreds of supporters rallied for Ukraine along the Seattle waterfront on Saturday, one day after the heated exchange between President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“We’re standing for Ukraine, we’re standing for President Zelenskyy because he doesn’t deserve to be treated like that. He’s the president of free people. Our freedom is a priority,” said Daria Diachenko, a Ukrainian who settled in Seattle two years ago.
