EVERETT, Wash. — An Everett homeless day shelter is wrapping up the finishing touches on its new location. Hope ‘N Wellness was forced to move out of its downtown location because of a city policy that wouldn’t allow it to operate on the ground level in the downtown core.
“It means that we get to continue, that there’s always hope,” said Jasmine Donahue. “We’re really grateful to be here.”
Donahue is the founder and CEO of the non-profit. It offers a safe and warm place for those who are unhoused to stay.
