Hit-and-run leaves woman in critical condition in Seattle

The suspect was driving a white or gray Ford Mustang, according to witnesses.

SEATTLE — Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run Monday morning in Seattle’s North Beacon Hill neighborhood.

The suspect, who was driving a gray or white Ford Mustang, drove through a red light and struck a woman walking in the crosswalk. The incident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Beacon Avenue South and South McClellan Street. 

The 32-year-old victim was propelled into the air by the collision and suffered a serious head injury. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical
