SEATTLE — One of Seattle’s longest-running restaurants is saying goodbye after more than 100 years.
Virginia Inn, Pike Place Market’s oldest institution, is shutting down April 27.
Pike Place Market is known for many things: fishmongers, flowers and unique vendors. But there’s something that came before all of it.
“I’m really sad this is an institution of Seattle,” said Craig Perez, the owner of the Virginia Inn, an iconic business that’s been on the corner of 1st Avenue and Virginia Street since 1903.
