Here’s where western Washington could see lowland snow this weekend

The best chances for lowland snow will be from Snohomish County northward to the Canadian border.

SEATTLE — Confidence of there being lowland snow this weekend is growing, and although there doesn’t seem to be any significant accumulations on the way, there will some spots which will see a quick inch or two as colder air settles in starting Saturday.

It all begins Thursday night as our first noteworthy system in weeks tracks through western Washington. This will bring steady rain over our part of the state through the night and into Friday. Amounts of rain will range between 1 to 2 inches through Saturday morning.
