SEATTLE — A lunar eclipse will be visible across most of North America later this week.
The celestial event should be visible in Washington state, weather permitting.
The lunar eclipse will take place on the night of March 13 into the morning of March 14, when the moon passes into Earth’s shadow, according to NASA. This will make the moon turn a red-orange color, which is called a “Blood Moon.”
