REDMOND, Wash. — A strong fiscal year for Microsoft has landed its chief executive a massive compensation increase from a year ago.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will earn $79.1 million in 2024 in total, a 63% increase from his company earnings in 2023. The details come from a regulatory filing with the United States Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC).
The vast majority of this compensation comes from stock awards, with $71.2 million total being earned by Nadella.
