National Weather Service data showed lightning strikes all over the region, from off the coast to deep into eastern Washington.
SEATTLE — Thunderstorms that progressed slowly over the western Washington region Wednesday evening produced lightning strikes area-wide. Some even wreaked havoc on homes and public transportation.
The storm moved out of Washington state, but while it was here, it produced a massive number of lightning strikes that were seen from off the coast to deep into eastern Washington.
