Dozens of legislative proposals failed to pass off the floor of the House or Senate before Wednesday’s 5 p.m. cut-off deadline.

OLYMPIA, Wash. — The state’s threshold for determining when a driver is drunk will not be changing in 2025.

Senate Bill 5067 would have lowered the blood alcohol content for drunk drivers from .08 to .05.

It, and dozens of other legislative proposals, failed to pass off the floor of the House or Senate before Wednesday’s 5 p.m. cut-off deadline.
