Generosity fuels new beginnings for Vision House after theft

Last month, a suspect stole a maintenance truck from Vision House, a Renton nonprofit that provides transitional housing for families dealing with homelessness.

RENTON, Wash. — A Renton nonprofit focused on providing transitional housing for families had its maintenance truck stolen, used in various crimes and totaled last month.

After KING 5’s story aired, the community went the extra mile, donating tens of thousands of dollars so the nonprofit could buy a brand new truck.
