Dr. Brad McDavid retired after 30 seasons with the Huskies earlier this year. Now, he’ll play a role in Seattle University’s brand-new pep band.
SEATTLE — Dr. Brad McDavid didn’t stop the music, he just put it on pause.
The former University of Washington Husky Marching Band director, who retired earlier this year, has taken on a new role as director of Seattle University’s inaugural Pep Band.
McDavid’s hiring was announced on Tuesday.
Vice President of Athletics Shaney Fink said in a statement that the Redhawks are thrilled to welcome McDavid as the Seattle U Pep Band director.
