TACOMA, Wash. — The former Sumner High School Basketball Coach facing sex crime charges involving his players testified in court Tuesday.
Jacob Jackson is facing 20 charges, including child rape, molestation and sexual exploitation of a minor.
The crimes were first reported to police in 2022 by multiple players and their parents.
Jackson’s trial started in December of 2024, and the prosecution had already brought their witnesses to the stand, which included multiple athletes who reported Jackson for the alleged crimes.
