Former pub owner, convicted of rape in second trial, faces more charges

EVERETT, Wash. — The former owner of the Anchor Pub in Everett has been convicted of rape in the second of four trials where he is the defendant.

Christian Sayre, 39, was found guilty of three counts of indecent liberties and one count of second-degree rape, the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed Friday.

The trial got underway Oct. 14, 2024, on charges that were filed in relation to incidents with four different women.
