TACOMA, Wash. — A campaign volunteer accused former Pierce County Sheriff Ed Troyer of harassment and intimidation.
A woman volunteering this fall for the campaign of then-sheriff candidate Keith Swank said that the former sheriff, who was sheriff at the time, yelled at her and then followed her when she was putting up and repairing campaign signs.
Troyer did not seek reelection this past year and his last day in office was Dec. 31.
