A winter wonderland swept through south Bellingham during the first weekend of February.
Although there was no snow in downtown Bellingham Sunday afternoon, just a couple miles south near Lake Samish there was plenty, as the small community embraced the weekend’s winter blast.
“I’m really excited, I’m loving it because it’s like a winter wonderland,” said Madilyn Delaney.

“A lot of snow happens around here,” said Delaney.
