SEATTLE — Seattle fire crews responded to a boat that went up in flames just offshore near Elliott Bay on Sunday.
The Seattle Fire Department first posted about the incident just after noon. One occupant from the boat was rescued by a civilian vessel according to the department.
Seattle fire said the fire was knocked down and that crews are dewatering the boat.
Officials are asking people to avoid the area.
