SEATTLE — Thousands of people across the country participated in rallies outside of their local post offices Sunday afternoon.
It comes after the United States Postal Service (USPS) Postmaster announced thousands of jobs will be cut in the coming weeks. The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will help with major changes within the agency.
Hundreds of USPS workers in the state were working on their day off to deliver this message.
“Fight like hell,” chanted about 200 people outside of the Westwood Post Office in west Seattle. “Fight like hell. Fight like hell.”
