The Seattle Police Department says the handguns were locked in a case, inside a larger bin that was zip-tied shut.
SEATTLE — Something was missing outside of a family’s new home in Seattle on Monday. A U-Haul truck containing two unloaded handguns was reported stolen from Seattle’s Green Lake neighborhood in the early morning hours of Aug. 12.
Byron Hofstetter and Jackie Yu just moved to the city from San Diego so Hofstetter could start a new job.
