Family of missing Arlington man calls on sheriff’s office to resume search

ARLINGTON, Wash. — The family and friends of 21-year-old Jonathan Hoang are pleading with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office to restart the search for him after it was called off earlier this week. 

Hoang, who has autism, has been missing since March 30.

His sister, Irene Pfister, said the family was never notified by the sheriff’s office that the search had ended.

“We started getting messages: ‘how do you feel about the search being suspended?’ And we’re like, what do you mean the search being suspended?” she said.
