Messiah Washington is remembered by his family as kind, considerate, and a teddy bear. They said he did not deserve to die, and are calling for justice.
TACOMA, Wash. — A family is sharing their heartbreak after an 18-year-old was shot and killed at a Tacoma Housing Authority apartment complex.
Messiah Washington was shot and killed inside Housing Hilltop South on Feb. 22. No one has been arrested for the crime.
As Tacoma police search for suspects, his family is pleading for an end to the cycle of youth violence.
