Expect more heavy rains, gusty winds by Monday afternoon in western Washington

There could be power outages and flooding as more inclement weather arrives Monday afternoon.

SEATTLE — Conditions around western Washington are relatively quiet Monday morning, but another round of heavy rains and gusty winds that could reach 60 mph in some areas will arrive in the afternoon.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting moderate flooding for the Skokomish River near Potlatch and minor flooding for the Snoqualmie River near Carnation.
