SEATTLE — March Madness has officially tipped off in Seattle, as the city plays host to the first and second rounds of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Fans from across the country are filling Climate Pledge Arena, bringing excitement—and plenty of high hopes for their teams.
While many arrived with tickets in hand, others showed up hoping to score one outside. For John Maher, a fan from Chicago and Marquette alum, that search for a seat turned into something more meaningful.
