Driver arrested for suspected DUI after allegedly hitting, killing pedestrian on I-5 in Seattle

The 20-year-old victim was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital.

SEATTLE — A driver was arrested for suspected DUI and vehicular homicide after hitting and killing a pedestrian on Interstate 5 in Seattle late Sunday night, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) said.

WSP said two vehicles were traveling northbound in the I-5 express lanes around 9 p.m. Sunday night, when a 20-year-old man stepped out into the roadway in front of one of them.
