‘Dream big’: Seattle Kraken’s Jessica Campbell inspires young girls with friendship bracelets

A bracelet exchange between Campbell and 6-year-old fan Zahra at a game recently went viral. Campbell has since made hundreds of bracelets to give out at games.

SEATTLE — Jessica Campbell made history in 2022 when she became the first female assistant coach in the NHL, joining the Seattle Kraken. Now, she’s continuing to break barriers and inspire young girls in hockey through a simple but powerful gesture: friendship bracelets.
