The Real ID deadline is 17 days away. Say someone doesn’t get one — what are other forms of ID accepted at the TSA checkpoint?
CALIFORNIA, USA — The Real ID deadline is right around the corner.
For whatever reason, if someone doesn’t get their Real ID by May 7, the U.S. said it does accept other forms of identification at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint. Those include:
State-issued Enhanced Driver’s License.U.S. passport.U.S. passport card.U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST).U.S. Department of Defense ID, including IDs issued to dependents.Permanent resident card.Border crossing card.An acceptable photo
