The dog was found alive with the help of a drone about two miles downriver from where they fell in, authorities said.
CARBONADO, Wash. — A multi-agency search involving over 20 personnel is underway for a woman who fell into the Carbon River Sunday afternoon with her dog.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) said the call came in around noon from the woman’s boyfriend. He had to drive 10-15 minutes away from where the woman fell in to get cell service to make the call. He told deputies the woman and dog were gone when he got back.
