‘Do not approach’: Edmonds police seek armed domestic violence suspect

Police say the public should not approach the man if spotted, but to immediately call 911.

EDMONDS, Wash. — Police in Edmonds are searching for a man accused of first-degree assault and domestic violence.

The Edmonds Police Department (EPD) says it has probable cause to arrest 73-year-old Nick Zerafat for an assault. Police say he is “considered armed” and the public should not approach if they see him.

Zerafat is described as 5-foot-10 and weighing 137 pounds, and was last seen at an Edmonds residence around 5 a.m. Wednesday, police say.
