The Marysville School District plans to close the Liberty Elementary School building and disperse students at Marysville Middle School to other schools.
MARYSVILLE, Wash. — The Marysville School District will go through some restructuring for the 2025-26 year as it looks to save money following more than a decade of declining enrollment.
On Wednesday, Jan. 22, the board of directors voted to reconfigure and/or close some schools as leaders look to save an estimated $2 million per year.
The school board directed interim Superintendent Dr. Dave Burgess to do the following:
