Did you use Mount Rainier’s timed entry system? The park wants to know what you think.

PARADISE, Wash. — Mount Rainier National Park introduced a timed entry system for the 2024 summer season which was intended to mitigate crowds in the park’s most popular areas.

Now that the timed-entry pilot period is drawing to a close, the park is seeking the public’s feedback on how it went. 

Timed entry reservations are currently required for anyone coming to the park between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Labor Day weekend of this year. The goal of the new system was to distribute visits more evenly
