Seattle Deputy Mayor Casey Sixkiller is taking aim at his boss’s job by announcing his own campaign for mayor on Tuesday.
Sixkiller currently serves under Mayor Jenny Durkan, who will not be seeking reelection, and has worked on a host of policies for her administration including its approach to homlessness.
“As a single dad raising three young kids in Seattle, I want them to see that real progress is possible.
