Crews restore power to 10,500 in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood

SEATTLE —  Seattle City Light crews restored power to more than 10,500 customers after an outage Saturday morning.

Seattle City Light first posted about the outage just before 8 a.m. and said crews were responding. More than 10,500 customers were without power at the height of the outage.

 The cause of the outage was reported as an underground cable failure.

Crews were able to restore all 10,500 customers affected by this morning’s outage in Queen Anne and Magnolia. The cause was an underground cable failure, and crews were able to isolate the issue and will make repairs. Thank you for your patience! pic.twitter.com/TNMce2ag9s
