Construction is officially underway for Amazon’s sleek new Bellevue 600 office building as the company expands its footprint on the Eastside.
Crews have begun demolishing an existing parking garage on the lot at 600 108th Ave. N.E., signaling that Phase I of the construction project has finally started according to the Daily Journal of Commerce.
Designed by architect firm NBBJ, the new 43-story building will include 885,000 square feet of office space, 121,000 square feet of amenities, and 14,000 square feet of retail space. At 600 feet tall, the new high rise will tie for the tallest building in Bellevue, adding another tall tower to the skyline.
