The November storm had a pressure which dropped to around 950 millibars, while this week’s storm dropped to around 980 millibars.
SEATTLE — This week’s windstorm brought widespread impacts and damage to western Washington, including several wind gusts worth noting.
A 64 mile per hour wind gust hit the south coast at Hoquiam, a 61 mph gust was recorded at Whidbey Island, and a 52 mph wind gust out at SEA Airport, which was only 1 mph short of the strongest gust ever recorded there.
