Coffee prices continue to surge as growing regions see climate extremes

Local coffee shop owners ask for continued support as the price for raw beans stays high, that will trickle down to an increase in prices at local coffee shops.

Coffee prices are on the rise across the world because of climate extremes in coffee growing regions. 

According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), 73% of the world’s coffee is grown in just five countries: Brazil, Vietnam, Colombia, Indonesia and Ethiopia.
