Chapel Hill Church in Gig Harbor will be open as a daytime warming center throughout the start of this week.
GIG HARBOR, Wash. — Some warming centers and shelters in Pierce County are continuing to open for people who need a place to escape the cold.
Chapel Hill Church in Gig Harbor is welcoming people in this week from Sunday through Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day.
“We love our neighbors, and we feel like we want to help out where we can,” said Dan Griswold, Chapel Hill Church senior director of facilities and operations.
