OLYMPIA, Wash. — Taxes proposed by Senate and House Democrats include targeting the state’s wealthiest investors and largest corporations.
Gary Parker, owner of BBQ2u in Gig Harbor, would not have to pay those higher taxes, but said because his suppliers would, he expects his costs would rise, if the proposals become law.
