RENTON, Wash. — A 5-year-old boy was injured when he was attacked by a coyote in Renton on New Year’s Eve, according to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW).
Officers responded to the Maplewood Heights neighborhood in Renton around 6 p.m. on Tuesday for reports that a coyote had bitten a boy. The coyote bit the boy in the upper body, then pulled the child to the ground and tried to drag him toward the woods, WDFW said.
