Boeing said Wednesday it expects to lose $1 billion as it continues to cease deliveries of its 787 Dreamliner jets, which have been grounded for several months as the company works to fix a series of production flaws in the airliners.
The company announced that figure in its third-quarter earnings report, which showed the company lost $183 million between July and September alone as a result of the halt in Dreamliner deliveries.
