SEATTLE — Beloved Seattle radio personality Bob Rivers has died after a battle with cancer. He was 68.
Friends confirmed Rivers’ death Tuesday on his website, saying his legacy will live on.
“Bob was more than a broadcaster—he was a mentor, a friend, and a remarkable human being who touched countless lives with his humor, generosity, and passion for storytelling,” wrote David Lee, Rivers’ friend. “His impact is immeasurable, and his voice will echo far beyond the airwaves.”
