BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue police said they have arrested a man suspected in an attempted kidnapping of a teen girl near a grocery store on Friday.
In a release Friday night, Bellevue police said the suspect had accosted a 16-year-old girl after they both exited a metro bus near the intersection of 145th Place Southeast and Southeast 16th Street. A passerby intervened and the suspect fled the scene, police said.
After releasing images and a description of the suspect, officers were called just after 8 a.m.
