Bellevue-based OfferUp lays off 22% of workforce

The company says it is providing severance and career transition services to impacted employees.

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue-based online marketplace OfferUp has laid off 22% of its employees, the company confirmed to KING 5 Thursday.

The announcement went out to employees on Wednesday, the company told KING 5. Though the company confirmed 22% of its workforce, it would not share specifics on the exact number or which of its departments were impacted. The company had 483 “associated members” listed on its LinkedIn page Thursday morning.
