Beaver found shot in January is making recovery at Pennsylvania wildlife center

The beaver will not be able to return to the wild, but will live in a sanctuary with everything he needs to survive.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A beaver that was found shot with 14 bb-sized pellets in its head in January has made a miraculous recovery while in the hands of the Raven Ridge Wildlife Center.

The beaver was found near the Susquehanna River in Marietta, Lancaster County on Jan. 24. Despite not finding the individual who shot the beaver, the beaver has been surrounded by support and love at the wildlife center.
