OLYMPIA, Wash. — Establishments that hold liquor licenses would be required to have drug testing devices available for customers under a proposal initiated by teenage girls.
Sixteen students from Lake Washington High School’s AP government class attended a Senate committee hearing on SB 5330.
The young women originally brought the idea to their state senator, Sen. Manka Dhingra (D-Redmond).
“This is really not meant to be onerous, but really meant to be a partnership to make sure all the patrons are safe,” Dhingra told
