Bailadores de Bronce kick off Hispanic Heritage Month on KING 5 Weekend Mornings

Mexican folklórico dance group, Bailadores de Bronce (Bronze Dancers), performed live on Sunday morning. The Burien-based group was started more than 50 years ago.

SEATTLE — Hispanic Heritage Month began Sunday, Sept. 15, and runs through Tuesday, Oct. 15.

To recognize the heritage month KING 5 Weekend Mornings hosted Bailadores de Bronce (Bronze Dancers), a Burien-based Mexican folklórico dance group.

The group’s executive director Adrian Olivas discussed the importance of why the group was started more than 50 years ago.
