‘All hands on deck’: How Seattle responded to the bomb cyclone

Seattle City Light said a key to its success was having extra crews in the field to respond to power outages during the storm.

SEATTLE — Seattle’s power company, Seattle City Light, is calling its response to November’s bomb cyclone a win because of its preparedness for the storm. 

On Friday, Jan. 17, the utility gave Seattle City Council members an update about two months after the deadly windstorm rocked western Washington.
