With four months until the general election, chair Shasti Conrad said they’re going to reach out and connect with voters to get them to the polls for Harris.
SEATTLE — Washington State Democratic Party Chair Shasti Conrad said President Joe Biden’s historic decision to not seek reelection brought mixed emotions.
Since Biden’s debate with former President Donald Trump, calls for him to drop out of the race intensified.
“A little grief at the decision of the president not to move forward, but a lot of excitement and energy that we will be voting for the first woman of color president,” Conrad said.
